Hello, I recently bought an AI Prime 16 light for my 32 gallon BioCube stocked with LPS and softies. My previous light was a Fluval Nano which I think wasn’t doing the job. I have mounted the AI Prime 7 inches above the water surface (I cannot change the height). Does anyone have any suggested light routine programming ideas? There’s so much varied information online and so many different variables that I’m not sure how to proceed. Some people have suggested the BRS video for guidance, but it seems far too bright for my corals and their specifications for light height and tank size don’t match my tank.

I like 67% blues 20% red 20 whites for LPS. A lot depends on what corals are on what level. This is modest and should be on the safe side for most but reef lighting is not a one size fits all kind of deal. Nice lights though

i have that light on a 15 gallon softie tank which is 12" deep, the blue's are set at 75%, the whites at 25%. Its not a very strong light and it has a super narrow light beam.

However, all of us that don't have PAR meters, we are all just guessing.

here try this setting, I'm running the modified file from Salty pops file.
My tank is 17" in depth and the prime is around 7-8" off the water.
