I have a 46G aquarium and I’m planning on making it a reef tank. Any affordable lighting options for anemones and coral? Not really liking the idea of $400 metal halides X/

This is a highly debated topic amongst the community and I guarantee you'll get about 50 different answers lol. Me personally I've very recently become a fan of metal halide with a t5 hybrid. Led t5 hybrid is second to best for me

They’re not considered the best but these are a couple brands of lights I’m considering on a budget

Mars Aqua
Viparspectra
Sbox reef lights

Otherwise a two Kessil A360WE lights would work, but it’s gonna run you $500 before mounting, but would be a worthwhile investment.

I’ve got a 45 gallon. I still haven’t decided what I’m going to use.
