@HuskerZoaLover and I are getting ready to set up a new reef tank and looking for information on lights. It seems like there is very little information on some of the fixtures. Tank will be 72” x 30” x 24”H and the lights will be in a canopy.
We have run both gen 1 and gen 2 of the ReefLeds. We like the shimmer, reminiscent of metal halides. Radions & Orphek aren't being considered due to this.
4 current options we are considering are:
1) Kessil A360xe (x3) along with led strips (likely AI blades)
2) ReefLed 170 (x3) with led strips
3) AI Hydra Edge 64 (x3), undecided on blades as well.
4) Illumagic x4 (x3 or maybe x6)
