Best looking PC Rainbow

Time to revive this, with a picture. Its taken some patience but mine is finally showing more than brown :) .... well from the top down atleast, ha!

do the red's come out with more growth, or from higher light? or both? ... i purchased a one inch frag and it encrusted and maybe shot up 1/4 inch, it is a lime looking green/yellow with a hint of red in the tip. red/brown polyps.

I have the exact same thing happening with mine. I think that ithey just haven't settled in yet. I have great growth on alot of things in my tank once they take off. I have a friend's colony in my tank right now and his looks great but it is a huge colony that is well established no matter where it is.

Yeah mine was a yellow/green while it encrusted. Covered about 3" diameter before it started shooting up, it seems to be a pretty fast grower. The blue tips came in on my piece once i moved it to a top spot in my tank.

Well my PC Rainbow from the first page was moved to LED a few months ago to make some space after it browned out for the millionth time. Over the last two months it started getting a green base with some yellow, then the ugly dull brown body started turning a bit orange, then within the last few weeks it started getting red dots all over it. Pretty crazy. My guess is it will turn mostly red base eventually. Its under a mars led fixture getting 300-400 par with alk around 7.5.

Mine was pretty much a solid reddish pink when I had it up high. It wasn't until I moved it down about 10" that all the colors started to show up. For its price it's definitely a stunner
