Hi team,

I am interested in hearing about what control measures you have used to successfully reduce aggressive behaviour from established fish towards new arrivals ?

I specifically have in mind concerns regarding adding a butterflyfish into a 180 G with an established purple tang ?

Thanks for any feedback.

A dramatic change in aquascape can help to 'reset' everyone's territories. I have also had success with confining one or more of the offending parties to an acclimation box for a few days. Sometimes it's easier to keep the newcomer in a box for a week so everybody gets acquainted
