i recently picked up a 125g AIO acrylic aquarium and I’m looking for a 2 small protein skimmer that will fit in the roughly 4” wide sump area in the back. I was thinking of running one on each side to increase the capacity of the system.

I noticed a lot of the small or nano protein skimmers have mixed reviews and was wondering which one would you recommend?

I have been using a Tunze skimmer in my 16g 'spare' tank that I use for excess corals, frags, new collected wild livestock (from the Gulf of Mexico). I didn't plan on using one, but I won it here on R2R and decided to give it a try. I'm pretty happy with the way it works, but consistent water level is important to keeping it quite. Then the water level goes down a little bit it does start to make some noise. I have to replace evap every 2 days and the skimmer reminds me if I forget!
