I have been using omegaone pellets for a while, and the stats and ingredients seem great... Until you get to phospates... Nothing against them and it seems understandable but I have a small tank where a small cup of pellets will last over a year.... I happened to go to fragtober fest 2018 and grabbed one of those Japanese trial size bags of pellets and have been using them ever since.... Not a clue on the ingredients as I poured it into my other can of pellets but their is a big size difference and I can tell I am almost out of that small trial bag. That being said are their and incredible pellet foods that float and eventually slowly sink and don't contain phospates? I don't know if I'm asking a lot here but with the size and value of a tank their must be some good options

Pe mysis pellets are good, for pellets.

If your home try to feed frozen. You tank will thank you.

I use hakari dry foods on the weekend to see an awesome feeding frenzy of course in moderation just to make sure everything gets food. But about this frozen... I'm sure theirs good and bad I once bought a bag of salad shrimp from a store... One made sparks in the microwave. . Maybe I shouldn't even use the mic? And prolly not salad shrimp

Lol. Yea no microwave. Your LFS should have frozen mysis shrimp. Good brands are hakari, PE, LRS.
Just take a medicine cup/dosing cup. Fill it with tank water. Plop a few cubes of mysis in the cup. Let thaw 15-30 mins. Dump cup in tank.
Happy fish ! :)

Only got brine, krill and daphnia from hikari at the moment, they are all dry
If frozen expected to be a lot better or kinda arguably the same? Because dry and pellets can sit right next to my tank

Much better for your fish and tank in general. Less artificial additives and preservatives. Less nitrate and phosphate. All around 100% better. A lot of people only feed frozen or fresh. They tend to have the most success as well.

I prefer feeding frozen food over pellets, and my fish seem to like it a lot more. I find that pellets are so concentrated that over feeding tends to affect water quality a lot faster. But, if you like pellets more and are careful about not overfeeding i would recommend new life spectrum. They have tons of different formulas depending on what kind of fish you have and what size you want.

I did get a 2 little fishes feed ring makes feeding much easier and a bit more interesting. Also helps ensure pellets are consumed not just doing laps around my tank until they fall to the bottom

It should be valuable to add I forget pretty much everything... Can rebuild your motor but forgot to turn the gas on... Lol done that several times..... So i don't think I would be good on week days feeding where I have to wait 30 mins. I often wake up 10 minutes before I have to leave for work

My favorite is TDO by Reef Nutrition. I use that exclusively at this point and the fish seem to do well with it.

The best if ya got to feed dry old pellets. TDO The Way To Go
Fish eat live food in the wild. Next best if frozen. Last in line is dry
