Best Place to buy a Camera!

I was originally thinking about going with an "Advanced Point and Shoot"...now I am leaning towards a Digital SLR!! I was looking at the Canon Rebel XT...which retails at Best Buy for around $699. Then I saw the XTi which retails for around $899. Anyone know of any places around with lower prices for the XTi? If I can find it for somewhere in the high $700s to very low $800s...I would take the jump up!

Are they pretty much the same except the XT is 8.0MP and the XTi is 10.1?

may want to check out costco if you have the means to... they offer something like full life warranties on the cameras they sell.

Some scuba guys buy cameras there, then when they flood with water (by accident ofc...) they get them replaced at costco pretty much no questions asked...

I say BH my dad is a professional photographer for over 30 years and he steered me to BH to buy my setup and they had the best deal around. And they have great Customer Service

I got my Canon xt from bhphoto. I can't remember the exact price I paid but it was the best deal I could find. I decided on the xt over the xti simply because I could get the canon 100mm macro with the money I saved.

i got my XTi from best buy on Black Friday, $300 off retail price!!! ;)

only catch was waiting in line at 5am...lol

my kit lense had a small nick in it though... :(

never bothered to go through the hassel of replacing it though, just figured i would buy a new, BETTER lense eventually.
