Hey guys, what sand have you found to be the best overall sand for your tanks?

Tropes Eden is great sand but pa is out. I ended up using sea flor special sand. Tropic Eden sand is whiter and less dusty. Both are great sand but if you have opportunity to get tropic Eden reef flakes I would get that one

I've used both and like both. I'm using 450 lbs of Tropic Eden Reeflakes in my reef now.

Around How many pounds of sand would I need for a 200gallon tank 63x31.5x23.5?
Im looking at 1.5-2 inch sand bed?

There are several sandbed calculators on various reef sites.
Here is one - Sand Bed Calculator

For 2" it said you need 161 lbs

I have always used CaribSea but just ordered some Tropic Eden reef Flakes based on some reviews I have read. hen it gets here I am going to do a review on both sands with pics.
