Best Tang for a 120

I highly recommend against a powder blue. This is not an ethical home for a fish that swims several miles per day in the wild at times. They're very active and stress in confined tanks, particularly those less than 6 feet long. The minimum size is 180, and I would argue even that's small for a full-sized adult.

Good suggestions: Tomini, Kole, Yellow, Perhaps a Purple. As far as foxface go, they're not as active and most varieties will do fine in a 4 foot tank.

Since I made the first post I have completely ruled out PBTs and any larger tang. I am mostly looking at the Yellow Eye Kole right now. I am not sure if I would do a Yellow Tang in a 120 so I might go with a One Spot Foxface instead.

I have one of each— they play nicely together ;)

Do you think a Yellow or Scopas would be happy it's whole life in a 120?
Depending on when you add them and how large they are they could get along well and 120 gallon is more than enough for the two fish just try to add them around the same time !

Both- yes. Assure good water quality and diet are maintained
