Best way to cleanly bind egg crate together

So I want to make a bunch of custom racks in a tank that I am making into a frag tank and I am going to need to bind some of the egg crate together to make legs for the racks. However I would like to avoid using zip ties because they are a pretty big eye sore. What can i use to attach the pieces together that looks nice. I feel super glue wouldn't work well either.

You can use a heat gun to bend the egg crate on two sides to create legs, one piece construction that looks nice.

Oh that's not a bad idea. I dont have a heat gun so redneck lighter and sandpaper it is (sandpaper to get rid of burt crap) haha

If you can get a heat gun I would recommend it. Cheap at the home improvement stores or harbor freight. You just heat to make it pliable and bend accordingly. It will heat slowly so you don’t burn the egg crate.

I love the ole returning. I plan on buying a par meter on amazon for like $400 and just return after I get my readings

Tutorial on welding plastic. Make sure the plastic has been cleaned of release agents prior to welding.


Plastic fasteners might work well also.
