I am using my LFS...
<snipped>
Nice guy and has helped me so many times over the years, like when a heater packed up on christmas eve the other year he opened up just for me.

That's an outstanding LFS. The proprietor deserves all the support you can give him. And probably a Christmas card, too.

I see it that it is best to support your LFS where possible.
He doesn’t stock everything that I need, and the bits he can’t get I use the website of another LFS with a decent selection of dry goods.

I would get the UV setup before you add the additional fish.

Put the purple in last, as they are very aggressive towards any fish with a similar shape. The mirror trick also works great

I’m looking at putting a UV in after the purple tang but before the other 2.

Going for an 80W D-D one

I collected the purple tang from my LFS on Sunday.
After doing the drip acclimation method, I then put him into the in tank acclimation box.
However I probably didn't leave him in for long enough, I only left him in for about 30-40 minutes.
This was my first time using an acclimation box, but I know now that I need to leave the fish in it for longer.

After letting "George" the purple tang out (he was named by my work colleague), the coral beauty went straight for him.
And the yellow tang wasn't happy either, I had thought that the yellow tang wouldn't be that bothered due to the fact that the purple tang is much smaller.
I then remembered reading about "the mirror trick", it is not something that I have ever tried in my 6 years of reefing. But I can safely say that IT DOES WORK.
Within 1 hour, the aggression level within the tank was a lot lower.
I have left the mirror next to the tank since Sunday (now Wednesday evening here in the UK) and day by day it is getting better.
How long would yu suggest leaving the mirror next to the tank?

I forgot to say, that I did also dim the lights on my radions down to 5% for sunday evening and all of Monday.
Then tuesday morning (before the lights came back on), I turned them back up to the 45% that they normally run at.
