Best way to remove this Montipora hitchhiker?

I recently picked up a beautiful Pink Floyd Acro from another reefer in my area. I didn’t notice till I got home that it had a small frag of green Montipora attached to it. Would like to remove it without doing unnecessary damage to the Acro. Tips/advise?

You could grind it off with a Dremel. Small cone tip, go slow.

I'd just go at it with some small bone cutters. Be pretty thorough. Monti is very robust hardy stuff.

You could cover the monti with super glue.

Break it off and glue over the site of attachment or it will return.

another vote for dremel and cap whats left with glue.

You can cover it in glue and it will die, but then you have a great place for algae to grow so best to cut if off.
