Looking in my rather barren start up to a tank and couldn't find my foxface tonight. Had him for about two months...maybe. Healthy, went through QT, eats like a pig and almost lets me hand feed him, only thing in the tank currently.

Looking...looking...nowhere to be found. Wait, there he is, attached to the mp40! One whole side is sucked up against the intake of the powerhead. Quick shut down. Now he is out and about swimming again, there were the marks left of where he was stuck to the mp.

So far so good, swimming, breathing, even eating normal.

What gives? Why did this happen?

Sounds like something is up with the health of the fish; a fish or that size should easily be able to swim away from an MP40.

And that is what I would think too. However, he went through QT, no spots anywhere, no heavy breathing, no flashing, eats like crazy. I would think something would show off, if health was a issue.
