I finished my case for testing kits and supplies. Really happy with it. Hated how unorganized it all was before.

I think out of this whole thread I'm most impressed by your pelican case for test kits. [emoji7]

Sorry to hear about your father. And thanks for your service!

Thank you, it's really useful. I use it everyday and it has everything I need, love it.

One day I'll have more shelves and have places for everything. Since I don't this case makes sure I don't lose or have to search for things when I need them.

I've made a purchase today that includes an additional Tunze 6105 that will be added to my current flow system of one MP60 and one Tunze 6105. All three combined have a capacity of 80x the display in flow. I think this final form of the flow system will ensure that the newly added rock will not creat a single dead spot, not that I have any now.

I have also purchased the needed equipment and fittings to make a ****** mixing station with a capacity of 110 gallons. Will include a RO shutoff float valve, Iwaki 30 for mixing and transporting RO/Salt water. I was able to save a lot of money by eliminating expensive ball valves. Sure all those valves could have a use at some point however does it justify the cost and in my case, no way.

I will fill, mix, and change ~100 gallons at a time. For now I will do it manually but there are plans to have an automatic water change system put in place. All this is leading to that but will eliminate a lot of monitoring and labor I have to do inoder to accomplish a simple water change now.

I dosed 50ml of Florish Phosphorus just a few days ago and I've got to add it again. This cheato is eating up PO4!

I wish I had the space for that big black tub of a sump. Looks good.

I have to ask... why is your skimmer labeled "skimmer"? :D

That's a lot of head pressure but important if I ever want to use RO water for our Discus for breeding purposes.

It's a masterpiece!

No longer have to monitor my RO/DI filling. Just turn two valves and go from mixing to filling. The Iwaki is a great pump for this duty, it will take only a few minutes to move 100 gallons of water from here, through a 20' 3/4" hose, and into my display system.

RO float valve
Turned the 90 going into the Brutes, this create a whirlpool and really helps mix salt FAST.

Cepex ball valve at the end of fill hose so I have full control of filling/draining.

Completed my first 100 gallon water change today. So quick and easy! I remove the water via a Python then use the hose from my mixing station in the garage to fill the display. The Iwaki has awesome pressure so even though the hose is long there is no lose in flow and fills the tank up really quick. To mix I dumped in about 2.5 bags of IO and turned the pump on for about two hours and ready to go. My system fills completely in less than a day so even if I just changed the water I have a new batch ready to go for emergencies in about 18 hours later.

Now we may be able to breed some Discus because they require RO water for the fry to really do well.

Replaced my old cheato fuge with a new improved version to take full advantage of the output of the large grow light.

I just set up a very similar water change system. It makes everything so easy. For me, if it is too unpleasant, I tend to just not do it.

Yup, plus I don't have much time sometimes and wanted to be able to do larger water changes less often.

Looks good. I just picked up a couple 6105s for the new tank to combine with an MP60.
