Thank you! I have a question but I dont know if I should ask here or make a new thread, I have a nerite snail in FW and its laying eggs. I thought they needed SW to breed?
I read somewhere I think here on R2R that they will lay eggs in freshwater but they dont survive

Thank you Raege and Muttley!:D How long should I drip acclimate a nerite snail? :)
If the salinity matches not long at all. If it doesn't I leave 30 minutes for each point of salinity up to 4 points. If more than that I lower a qt to bag water and change via the top off. Luckily my LFS keeps their inverts at 1.025 or 1.026 so I usually float for 15 minutes and then drip for 15.

Welcome home, you will love it here!

Tell us about your tank/plans! :)

Its in freshwater lol. I just slowly add some of my SW?

Sorry I didnt mention before.
Oops I missed a few posts lol. In your situation I would acclimate to only a couple points salinity, and then top off with salt water in that vessel until I reached the target for the tank.

Thank you! Would mollies work the same or is that more difficult?
