Big fish man

I know that this is an aquarium website but I’m hoping there are some fisherman on here too. We were fishing in Destin, Florida and caught this monster. Can anybody ID it? We threw it back, figured it wasn’t good eating.

Ladyfish, great for sportsfishing, they fight. Not good eating. Very bony. Used mainly as bait.

Yup ladyfish! Not the best eating but some make a stew out of it. Very good bait!

Use to fish live ones for huge snook off some bridges in south Florida.
