Big hole in Queen conch’s shell

I noticed that my Queen conch’s shell is really thin in some spots and there are small holes in the spiral tip. Recently a good size hole opened up so the conch is exposed. Luckily no one has figured out (yet) that she is tasty. Does anyone know what might cause this? Everything else in my mixed reef is doing fine. I had read that it could be caused by parasites so I’ve started brushing the outside of the shell w a soft toothbrush, occasionally, to see if that helps

I wonder if there is a predatory snail trying to eat the conch?

Had an urchin dig a hole like that.

That's not good, doubt it was a snail. She probably fell and hit a rock or a rock fell on her shell. Not sure how you would go about repairing it. Maybe some epoxy?

Thanks to everyone who replied! Update: the hole got to be twice the size in the picture so I put the conch in the sump to see if the hole was from a predator in the DT. Within a month 2/3 of the hole was repaired w new shell! So interesting. Now I have to figure out which &$@hole snail did this in my DT before I return the conch to its former home
