Hi I have a Big Pink ****** Chalice. It is mostly pink but there is some purple on it. I've only had it for a month and this is how I got it. It is on the middle bottom of my tank. Any suggestions on how I can get it to turn back to all pink? THe purple is mostly on one side of it. It otherwise looks healthy and eating. The mouths are the rainbow coloring it should be. Thanks!

More light my friend.
Not a whole lot but if I move chalices to the frag tank where they had less light the surface that wasn't facing my lights turned darker in color and eyes will turn green.
Not sure what kind of light you have and what par you have on that bottom part or how long your photo time is.
Some of that info will come in handy but I'm almost positive that's what it is.

im running radions. It was like this when I got it and I had it in the front corner to make sure my light wasn't too strong. I've since moved it to the front middle where it will get more light. Will see how it looks in the coming weeks. Thanks again for the input!

You need to find the balance for your cube but I think that Xr30 is to much anyways fro your biocube.
If you increase your daylight with 1% every other day till you hit 45 and see what kind of result you get then.

oh yeah its definitely overkill but overall the tank is doing great. The anemone I put in the middle top hasn't moved once. all the coral is growing well. i had it up as high as 35% at the peak for 30 minutes every day but brought it down for now because during the summer it was getting hot in there. Will see how the chalice resonds to being in the middle and will increase intensity if the colors dont improve. Thanks again will post an update down the road!
