Right now I have a 10 gallon AIO system with a Sicce MicraPlus (158 GPH) and was wondering if getting a Jeboa SLW powerhead or a larger Sicce (either the 0.5 [185 GPH] or the 1.0 [251 GPH])...tank will be mainly macroalgae and gorgs. I think a larger pump would be better, the 0.5 seems perfect for my tank size, and having ANOTHER piece of equipment in the tank doesn't sound as nice. I feel like I answered my own thread

You could also get a flow diffusing nozzle to go with your bigger pump so you can get more variation in flow. That’s what I did with my AIO. Plus not having any power heads visible in the tank looks super clean, so if you can manage sufficient variable flow with a return pump then that’s awesome!
