Recommendations? Manual removal? I was thinking with a heated pin head to see if it detaches don’t want to rip it off cuz I’ll probably have more if I leave some intact

I would start with a standard insecticide dip to test the efficacy against that type of flatworm. Where there is one, There are bound to be more. Once the flatworm is off, I would be aggressively scrubbing every bit of that skeleton and plug with a toothbrush.

While you have an easily identifiable test subject, might as well figure out what Will kill it, in case you find more.

Have you seen it move at all? How positive are you, It is a flatworm?

I've never found coral rx or the red Sea dips to be super effective at stated dose. I'm not advising you to do this, But I usually dose at 4x concentration.

True the dips I usually do .5 gal for the 1 gal dose but this was a shipment w 20 frags and didn’t want to kill or stress any coral out. I usually leave on frag rack for about a month dipping a few times in between depending on what’s growing on them. I’m not positive it’s a flatworm but has distinct shape and markings inherent in some species. I’m fairly new to the coral hobby so I wanted as much input from the community as I could get. I will try and peel off and scrub Skelton then dip in 2x strength Coral rx/ iodine to avoid secondary infection and removal of any other pests hiding. If it’s a sponge then simply air drying it for a few mins should work correct? And if you guys think it’s a sponge what kind is it? Maybe some direction in that way so I can look it up. Thanks guys! This is why I love R2R
