Have a question about he lights

There's four switches on top for the lights....when I turn on one of them a fan seems to come on...what's that for?

Cooling off the bulbs but only when you have all the lights on , or the 10,000k day light on that's how it works on my biocube

+1, I changed the bulbs around so they came on/turned off with the actinic lights instead of the whites

So you can have all he lights on at the same time?

yes all the lights can be run

What does it do to the tank by running all of em?

Totals in 72 watts and makes a pretty bluish color
