I have a 2 month old biocube 32 which I now realize was a mistake. In the next month I’m going to upgrade to a Redsea Max E260. My question is would it be ok to swap the sand over since it will only be 3 months old? I know they say do not swap sand into new aquarium, but since it is not that old I was thinking it would be ok to swap.

I and many will reiterate, would start with new sand - live caribsea. Use a good bacteria and live rock for seeding tank
Nice upgrade

I will probably go with new sand but was going to reuse most of the biocube water so it will only be like doing a 50% water change. Will add some Seachem seed after swap. I’m worried about moving my fish into a thoroughly new tank.
