I put this tank together for my wife Lindsey. It's my first Saltwater tank and my first Reef tank so here we go.

  • Biocube 32
  • 20 lbs CaribSea AragAlive sand
  • 6 chunks of "Life" rock
  • Seiche powerhead
  • 150w Fluval submersible heater
  • Inkbird heater/chiller controller
  • FZone ATO
  • Fivestar/InTank Media basket
  • 2 x 21LED 12" blue light bars and chinesium timer

Looks good, my only suggestion would be to leave a bit more space between the glass and the rocks - you'll find it much easier to clean that way.
Yeah, I've figured that out. I have several spots where the rock contacts the glass and now I have spots that can't be cleaned....the wife likes the layout and I'm going to stick with it until it becomes untenable and then I have to upgrade to a 80 gal 😂

I also have this little guy that works well to clean in tight spaces and shows the the temp.

Hello friend and fellow CUBER! I hope your wife is enjoying the tank and I hope you are having fun setting it up for her. I think that's a really cool project for you guys to be working on together.

Do you have any plans for corals?

It looks.like you're doing great, but please feel free to reach out or visit my build thread if you need any advice or guidance.
Best of luck to you!

I've added a handful of corals - trying to get past post restrictions

"Congrats" on the new tank. Watch each and every time you use a glass-cleaning device not to trap even a single grain of sand between it and the device; you have such a beautiful new tank, and if you scrape it, you will cry! 😟But keep up the good work!
