Hi all,

I recently got my first bird's-nest two weeks ago and the bottom of it is still white. I have it placed higher in my tank with the wave maker pointing at it. I'm not sure what to do. Should I move it lower in my tank? I have attached a pic of it.

Thank you!

You need to post a lot more. Tank age, all parameters, possibly a full tank shot. Can’t say much with out more info unfortunately

If you have only just moved it then you must wait a while longer they are not happy being moved around often and if it's like mine not super colourful on the underneath either yes tank parameters are needed for better help and also not sure about directly pointing the wavemaker at the coral but maybe someone else will say about that, here are a couple of pics to maybe help put your mind at ease and the best I can get showing the paler / whiter colour on the underside and this is still growing today
