My alk has risen over the past three weeks from 8.5 dkh to 11.3. I thought since the increase was slow everything would be okay. However my birdnest was the first to show signs of stress. Started to turn white at the tips and work it's way down to the base. Could be unrelated but thought I'd share.

I can't keep birdsnest alive for anything. A spot will turn white and in a few days the frag will be completely dead. Hammers and frogspawn grow ok, so I can't figure it out. For me it seems like they are really finicky, and will kick the bucket if you look at them wrong.
