Bivalve on Octospawn?

Recently (one week or so) I have noticed that my Octospawn has not been opening up completely. So I started to really check it out and it seems like there is something living on the skeleton. When I tap the tank it closes up like a bivalve. I highly doubt it is another head growing. I will post pictures below. Im curious if someone has an idea, if bot I will pull the coral out and try to peel off whatever it is on there.

From what your describing it sounds like a bivalve. The pics are to blue for me to see though.

Have you ever heard of that on a coral? Im wondering if I peel it off how it would effect the skeleton of the octospawn. It is definitely effecting the coral from opening. I may do another Coral Rx dip as well.

It's common and I never had them bother any coral they've come on. Most bivalves won't survive long.
