I got this bubble tip a week ago. Nem has acclimated well and has been fed with reef roids. I am keeping the Nem in an acclimation box for now as my clowns pestered my last BTA to death (started hosting in 5 days!). All is well, but I was curious what this black area on the Nem is? He is from an online store and came with this black area on the disc. The area is about 3 cm long and has no tentacles in that area.

I do not. But I can take one and post in about 30 min or so. Thank you!

It looks damaged to me, but not concerning.
Maybe happened when supplier removed it from whatever it was stuck too, before coming to you.

Okay. Thanks for the replies. I just wanted to make sure it was not some kind of infection or other ailment. I will keep an eye on it and see how the nem heals! Hopefully in a week or two we will be back to normal.
