Black Friday...Whos With ME!?!?!?!

Anyone else tired of all the running around and mayhem of black Friday shopping? ME TOO!

I work at REI and thought id share this with you; even if it only gets one of you outside on the 27th.

One year too late I'd say. Seems like REI is just following a trend of stores that are now claiming to be closed this years Black Friday.

Plus, who ever waits in line at a REI store lol.

Isn't Lowe's also supposed to be closed on black Friday? Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly and they won't be participating in the crazy sales on that day. Either way, I think that counts! :)

Lowe's is definitely open Black Friday....I think 5AM. Not sure what they are doing Thanksgiving.

I understand the need for people wanting stores to be closed, but on the other hand I do know a lot of people who look forward to making the extra money on those days.

I personally have skipped all the hoopla of black Friday for years now. Id rather pay more and not have to deal with the people and the 5am sales. plus at this point most places have all the sales online so its kinda pointless to go to stores even if you did need to save some coin.

Moral of the story, just get out! Even if its just a walk around your local park. Enjoy the solitude on this hellish day!

Years ago when you really could get the best deals on Black Friday it was fun. Now there are sales before Black Friday, after Black Friday and so on and so on, so no it's not worth it and it's not fun . I stay home and as some others have said I shop on line. And I WILl not shop on thanksgiving ever, retailers that open on those days should be ashamed of theirselves for making their employees work on those days. IMO :D

And if you want a tv the best time to get it is AFTER Christmas ;)
