Second pic is day 9. I expect the rest to hatch tonight

Hoping for a clutch (#3) between Friday -Sunday I have been house sitting for a friend and have not been feeding the clowns as frequently as I like. I have been consistent with water changes, and she looks plump. Idk I hope to attempt to raise batch #3 or #4.

Clutch #3 has been delayed. Feedings have been very inconsistent due to my vacation. Back to 5-8 feedings a day now. Should have a clutch soon

Once you raise a clutch can you post a picture of your setup where you're raising the fry.

I look forward to documenting the entire process! With pics and very detailed updates!

Female is looking loaded!!! Next couple of days were gonna have a huge clutch. I hope to try to raise this batch! I'm thinking 250+ eggs I have never seen her this full.

Yippie I knew it was coming but larger than expected!!!!. This clutch contains more eggs than the first two spawns combined! !! Be my guest to count and double check, but I counted 335. It gets tricky with the shadows. I also notice 30+ white patches where it looks like an egg failed to attach.( not concerned with this, only their third clutch.) but it's interesting to think that the female actually had 350+ eggs! She was girthy!!!!

Thanks friends! I'm hoping to try to raise this batch, especially with the MBI conference in Michigan coming up on July 19. I'll be in attendance for sure! Hopefully they hatch on the ninth night like clutch 2 did. The hatch would fall on my birthday, what a cool gift that would be!!

Tagging along. One of my goals in the hobby is to sometime raise fry. Had a pair of normal ocellaris but I just lost the male so I'm back to the drawing board. Thinking of going black ice so I'm interested to see how your youngins turn out.
