I have a Duncan coral, candy cane coral, mushrooms, and zoanthids. My Duncan pictured in the bottom right was closed up today, so that just makes me wonder if it is the Duncan by trying to host since he always has slept near it even before I put the Duncan in place. I also put a six line wrasse in yesterday. Sixline wrasse has no spots at all. Clownfish and sixline act normal. My shrimp acts normal, as well as all my crabs and snails. Nitrites and ammonia is 0 . My nitrates are a little high at 15ppm, but nothing worth worrying.

Duncan is a possible candidate but this does look like stinging known as Hyper melanization. You dont need to treat with anything as it will self heal and allowing the clown to become accustomed to the sting from host but doo observe fish to assure spots remain the same or diminish and not increase.
