Am I tempting fate or will one turn male and then other female? Or is it inevitable that both turn same sex and kill eachother? Its a 8ft 260g tank

With these guys you’re likely to be fine with pairing - Its not often they both transition.

That's what I'm hoping for. They are both eating and active which is nice. You know fish though, could be fine for years and you look at them wrong and they die. Lol shesh.

How are they at this time, almost 3 months in your tank?
