i’ve been observing it and didn’t notice any movements.
If it’s a black sponge, should i keep it or try to get rid of it?
 
some say get rid of it ,outside of tank ,will release toxins if done in tank.
i like it and leave it alone,never seen it hurt anything myself... ;)
