Just saw this black round slug looking thing in my DT today. Not sure where it hiked from but it was about the size of a dime. Has retractable antenna and can move at a good rate.

Kill or live?

If it has a shell under the flesh there, it may be a Scutus sp. elephant slug (which should be a beneficial algae eater).

That's so cool! Mine is really small - 1/4 that size - haven't seen it for a few days and hope it spawns some friends.

It prefers the dark, and loves the sump. I stopped moving it to the DT. It just kept going back to the sump on its own.

I have one and it’s really cool. I hardly ever see it but it’s gotten pretty big. It comes out at night and eats algae off the glass.
