Hey everyone got a rock of rainbow Nems today and I found there is a black widow on there. The Nems have all been happy and seem fine. Do I move this thing out asap or just wait to see stress? It must have been fine with them till now so maybe it just isn’t as mean?

Also my only other tank has Chicagos so I think that would likely be worse

Any advice is appreciated

I dont think I've heard issues with your current pairing.

Awesome I thought rainbows and black widows supposedly faught more or whatever because widows are aggressive. I guess I’ll just keep an eye on everything
If I remember correctly the common issues are the greens vs reds. Rainbows and widows are pretty similar.

Maybe have some extra carbon on hand for safety

Extra carbon and keep CIPRO on hand but I think it should be fine if it came with the rock

I’m glad to hear it shouldn’t be as bad as I thought. I thought the widows were rough. I will keep an eye and see how it goes.
