I need quick, I need cheap, so a Marineland Contour Desktop Aquarium as a QT?? Yea's or nay's, it doesn't matter cuz like I said, I need quick. My 14 just finished it's ammonia cycle and I thought while it's doing it's nitrite thing, why not start a small QT so that when I'm sure the 14's ready, I can start the QT process to have fish ( and maybe some zoas), by Thanksgiving. Taking some PVC elbows that are seasoning in the DT (14), Pop them into the QT, leave the carbon out, and add some ammonium chloride to kick start the QT cycle. I don't know a lot about this tank, so if anyone has an opinion, speak now. My wife's making noises about turning this into a Pico reef once the QT part for the DT is done (Heh, heh, heh. She's fallen for my trap!). Recommendations, puh=leez. I need dip recomendations too, for both fish and zoas.
