There is an LFS store near me that used to be a jack of all trades and had some saltwater stuff. I was in there the other day and one of the employees mentioned they were getting rid of all the saltwater stuff to add more freshwater. In the display tank they did a great job of growing hair algae, aiptasia, and red cyano. They do have a blasto frag in there that I am interested in buying however the plug that it's on is covered in cyano. Is there a way to clean/ disinfect that before I put it in my tank or should I just pass on this one?
