I've got 5 types of blasto near each other and each frag has 1-3 babys.

A week and a half ago, the top right blasto started to overextend. Does this mean that specific blasto wants more light?

Quick background. I've used a 300w black box for about 8 months. Fwd to this past wednesday, I swapped the black box for a maxspect r420r 180w and currently acclimating all corals to new lighting using a lux meter.

I see no signs of stress or bleaching from any SPS, LPS or leather in the tank. That blasto started this prior to taking down the black box. Bottom left blasto looks funny because of the way it was glued.

Thoughts?

What are your parameters?

I have that exact blasto and mine is very fleshy and extended out like that too. It’s somewhat of an issue because it shades out the baby heads.

I doubt its parameters related, I think it's a lighting issue but weird how no other blasto is reacting the same way.
