I’ve had this blasto for close to a year now. It was one small polyp when I bought it, but it has now gotten huge and has several new polyps growing out of the side. Several weeks ago, I saw one of the polyps on the bottom of the blasto start to peel off of the skeleton. I figured this was just due to low light and didn’t worry since the rest of the polyps looked happy. Today, I noticed what looks to be the baby polyp under my rock, living happily on the sand. Has anyone seen blastos reproduce like this before? Super interesting and just thought I’d share!

They can do several things. From dropping skeleton frags of their own, and probably do well with a polyp bailout. I never had mine bail. But one did try to drop a few boogers which didn't go far from home anyhow.
