Blasto size

One of my LFS has a blasto that is almost 3 inches in diameter. With the exception of my merletttis most of mine top out at 1.5 inches. Has anyone seen this?

Mine is that size.

The big one seen in the photo is about 4" or more in diameter when fully open.

I’ve got an Ironman that is starting to get a little larger. My other one, generic red with green center has grown lots of new heads in the 2 years I’ve had it, but none that would measure more than 2 inches. Do different wellsi grow different sizes?
