Has anyone ever seen a Blasto wellsi do this? I've had this one for almost 2 years and it started as a single head, so it's not like one that was just placed in the system and acclimating.
It's been deflated like this for about a week...polyps aren't receded into skeleton though. Second pic is how it was prior to this.
It's been growing a lot of new heads under and between older heads, so I'm wondering if it's just "self adjusting" to make room for those to receive light. *shrug*

No changes to lighting?
You have not added any new tank inhabitants?
Are shrimp or fish picking at it? Have you checked late at night for pest?

It's an absolute beauty.

No major changes and nothing new added. Don't have any shrimp and I'm not seeing anything irritate it during the day or night.
