Bleached overnight

Hi all!! Having an emergency currently. Added two corals two days ago (octospawn and Favia colony) all parameters were great as well as salinity. I did target feeding and water change yesterday. Everything was fine last night and moved my zoa colony.This morning I woke up and my flame angel had died, a couple snails had closed up, hermit crab died, chalice and Blasto bleached, octospawn bailed out and Favia is covered in white spots and everything is sliming. I checked parameters again and all is fine.Tank is only 1 month old but doing fine apart from today. Clownfish as well are doing good along with my toxic green paly! Does anyone know what the heck happened?

We need the info please.... parameters, type of lighting and flow, livestock, filtration... a full tank pic can also help.. even the duncan and zoa's don't look very good, so something is wrong with this tank. Fish, inverts, and corals dying often points to water issue, so we need all the info

Lighting and filtration and flow is biocube 14 with stock blue and white lights that I keep running for 10 hours a day! 8 hours white and blue and blue only for last two hours.
PH 8.1 - been struggling to move it up
Ammonia- .25PPM
Nitrite-0
Nitrate-10 ppm
Phosphate- .25ppm
Hardness-300 very hard?
Alk- 10kh
Calcium 420

Only think I can think is something was on my hands and it wrecked everyone cause everything literally was thriving yesterday and this morning all hell broke loose.

I responded down below but livestock is Palythoas colony, zoa colony, 1 blue mushroom , 1 daredevil chalice, 1 Favia colony, 1 Duncan colony, 1 ricordia , 2 clowns. Things that died overnight all 6 snails, octospawn head ( literally disintegrated, flame angel, and our hermit crab earl. I think there must of been something on my hands or I target fed them with coral max that killed everything somehow.

ok, so I would suggest not to worry too much about the ph, many poeple don't even test for ph.

I can see you're using API test kits which are ok but not accurate enough for keeping corals. Get salifert or hanna tests. No need to test for ammonia and nitrite once the tank is cycled.

The angel should be in a 70+ gallon tank, and I would guess it died from the stress of being in a small tank, the clownfish looks diseased too. #fishmedics can help guide you how to help your fish and rid your tank of disease. But please respect the recommended tank size for fish. Your tank is actually fully stocked with 2 clowns and shouldn't add any other fish.

I'm not sure if that light is enough for corals, maybe someone else can help with that.

I don't see any algae in your tank, so maybe thats why the snail died.

Basically I would say you are going pretty fast for a one month old tank and should slow down. Personally I only add my first fish to a new tank only 3-4 weeks after, you are going too fast. Just my opinion, good luck

Change out the substrate while the tank is still young. Either to Aragonite, Crushed Coral or bear bottom.
I had nothing but problems with the black sand/gravel.
If you need assistance regarding how to do so just create another thread.
The current issues are likely related to stocking too quickly. Looks like your clown has a disease condition going on as well.
As we say in this hobby "nothing good happens fast". It's a hobby of patience.

That clown has brook. You went way to fast. All fish need to be treated in QT and tank has to fallow 45 to 76 days.

You need to watch your hands around those green death palys too.

Thank you everyone for the insight and I’m so new to this and it’s been an emotional rollercoaster. Sounds like a resounding thing of stop adding things and leave it alone!!! I’ll get to work!
