bleached tip

i got a pink bird's nest as a freebie from a frag pack but when i put it in, the tips were bleached (all three tips out of three branches). should i be concerned or will be bounce back? the other sps/montis seem to be doing well.

You have a pic? From your decription it sound like its normal. Usually the tips are white from growth. But post a pic to make sure.

Just monitor it . Its probably doing that due to stress. Let it get used to your tank parameters but IME I have a burnt tip when my ALK was high like 13. But since you said all your corals are fine then I think its just stress issue...
