Bleaching or Growing Monti

Do you think this Monti is bleaching or is it white from growth?

That unfortunately looks like it's having a little bleaching. If it was growth it would not grow in random spots.

If it was growth, the entire edge would be white, not just in spots.

I turned my lights down some and put them on an acclimation period. It’s been in my tank for a few weeks now. Gonna check my par today.

I would also check for monti eating nudis. Those blotchy patches around the rim are typical of those.

That doesn't look like a bleaching monti it looks like damage or pests to me, do you have more pictures?

You will know more in the coming days but I would investigate pests, its not getting stung by near by corals, it doesn't look like. Check at night a few hours after lights out and see if you can spot anything with a flash light.
