Now if only I'll get all the other things you and @tdlawdo think I need! Total rebel!
You need wavemakers! It’s insanity to have a dragon soul torch and no wavemakers! Lol.

Do you have a close up shot of your burnin banana?

it may be totally dead at this point. It never really grew much and a lot of my encrusting stuff started airing a few weeks ago. No clue what’s going on.

here is the maybe dead burning banana. I’m hoping it comes back. I’ve had things come back that looked way worse.

Maybe water movement? After that call out from Hemmer i am thinking about the BRS vids that say flow is probably as important as lighting

I don’t have a powerhead either, just the 2 returns on my AIO. Here is mine, it’s been a slow grower but I think feeding is most important for it. Not a lot known about the species, but the best article I could find said “could benefit from regular feedings”. I got it as a tiny frag but it’s starting to sprout up a little. Those pics are kinda old, I’ll take another tomorrow when the lights come back on.

Yeah. Things were growing too well in my biocube and there was less flow. I did have some random casualties that may have been from the flow. But everything was growing super fast for about 2 months and then suddenly slowed down about a month or so ago.

Oh no! Did you change anything? I’ve been so nervous to do anything different at all for that exact reason..

I had a similar problem going from my 75 gal to the RSR 650 penn. I'm hoping things will start working it's self out if I continue to keep things stable and consistent.

How’s the flow on the BB? I’ve notice my stylos love flow, at a minimum they like medium flow but when I crank up the flow to higher levels the polyps really stretch out. Hope you can save this one.

I have the same skimmer for my 60 cube.
I love that skimmer. It's so easy to setup and skims like a beast.
Is yours fairly loud? I thought it'd be quieter.
Mine is quiet. Just a faint hum. Have to made sure the motor is securely connected to the plastic dampening piece?

Lol. I didn’t. But I actually made a prediction that everything would start turning upside down because it was looking so good. When they all suddenly started growing, I predicted they would change the water chemistry in unpredictable ways. I suspect that’s some of it. For example, It was taking up alk like crazy and I wasn’t keeping up initially. Then I figured it out the correct dosage. Now that it’s slowing down, the alk uptake is significantly less. And I’m having to adjust the dosage again. Lol. I like @Dana Riddle ’s quote that it’s a chess game you’ll eventually lose. Seems pretty accurate. ;Hilarious

Yeah. Some of it just might be figuring out a new tank. It’s not past the 6 month mark yet. Still looks pretty decent though.
