He should be just adjusting to the new tank.Saturday I put a tuxedo urchin in my 60 gallon and moved the pink one to the biocube. The pink one is having a blast, but the tuxedo urchin has not moved from its spot. It was sitting flat on the sand and now it’s on the wall, but still the same corner.... not sure if this is normal behavior of if it’s dieing...

He’s not moved from the spot I put him at. Unless he’s a ninja. On time lapse, it looks like his spines are moving... but that may just be the water flow.

Great colors.This was a few days ago. It was the male next to one of the females. I have some along the line as he was changing, but scrolling through all these pictures is crazy. I’ll have to sit down at my computer to find them. I’m super excited though. He’s getting super pretty and his pelvic fins have turned a crazy pretty burgundy color that I can’t seem to capture with my phone camera. Can’t wait to share.
Yeah. It happens. The new one is scooting around just fine. I suspect the first one was on its last leg when I bought him.
Yep. I started salt in my biocube about a year ago and outgrew it quickly. Started the 60 gallon cube over the summer. Much better with space now.
