Blenny attacking hermit crabs

I think I may have gotten an ******* tail-spot Blenny. I thought they were supposed to be peaceful? He keeps attacking my hermit crabs. Found one dead this week, so it could have been him, or natural causes. Has anyone else had ******* blennys?

Are you sure he is attacking them and not just eating algae off their shells?

Idk..i have an algae blenny that attacks my hand and my clown if she gets too close....

Is it "attacking" the shell or the crab itself? Blennies will often vigorously try to eat the algae on a hermit's shell.
