On my current 125 i have a 57 watt UV plumbed into one of my returns.
I am thinking on the 300 I will give the UV its own pump and feed from the first chamber of the sump into the skimmer chamber jumping over the refugium.
Does this sound reasonable?
Will run on a DC pump so I can adjust flow rate depending on situation.
This is how I currently have it plumbed with the return but any time I have to change flow rate the level of my sump also changes and throws off the ATO. I want to avoid this next time around.
Also I think the uv and all the extra plumbing is causing more back pressure and lower flow rates on that side of the tank.
