So morning to I have woke to a blinking kessil so I know it was not random. I have 4 kessil 360wes daisy chained an used with a controller. Unplugging the lights at the control does not fix it, unplugging the light at the first light does not fix it, (yellow arrow). Unplugging it on the input side stops the blinking, but plugging it back in, starts it up again. An ideas.? Unplugging the first light and unplugging the blinking light at the input ports. Then plugging in the first light first, followed by plugging in the problem light seems to correct the problem.

How often do you clean them? If they haven't been cleaned recently now might be a good time. I had one start to blink (regular a360 not we) and got maybe another year out of it before it got worse to the point I could no longer adjust the spectrum and the blinking made it mostly unusable.

To be fair it lasted many years and it's the only kessil light I've had fail. My a350 is several years older and still going strong. Keeping them clean is the key to a long life!

Yes. IMO they should be broken down and cleaned about once a year. Technically if they are still under warranty this will void the warranty and kessil don't make them easy to take apart. It's a real pain to do but it keeps them going long term.

do not open them up it will void warranty. If you have an air compressor blow them out, they really need blown out every 6 months. You will be amazed at the crud that will come out. An I second emailing or calling them, they have been beyond helpful with me, I run 9x - 360we's and they are 6 plus years old.

Try a new cable to the input of blinking light. Just had the exact same thing and it turned out cable went bad.

what are you using for a controller? how long of a cable run is it? I have issues with some of mine blinking if I try and run them under about 5% intensity with my Apex.

Called kessil they said to blow it out with air and see if that works if not call them back on Monday. And they also said they recommend they be blown out monthly. Guess I'm adding that to my Alexa to do list. Interesting POINT OF FACT BUT NOT RELATED that over the life of these lights aN controller (only 2 years old) we would notice a random flicker from all blues to all-white and back to blues from time to time. The research said that was the controller possibly. Now, I wonder if its related. haven't seen the mass flicker in many months...

kessil tech called me back and went into greater detail and wants me to swape cables to see if the flickering moves to another light, this would be the sign of a bad cable if the problem remains on the same light then its a light fixture issue. and warranty will replace it or the cable. my purchase date was 2years and 2 days ago.

LOL 2 days out of warranty LOL.... 2 days

but they said they will still make it right with a new light if its the light

....... 2 days out of warranty. lol

I’ve been using 350’s and 360’s for a long while now (since 2013 ish). I agree that blowing them out extends their life substantially. I blow mine out quarterly.
