Blue background

Who out there likes blue for there background on there reef tanks?

Never really thought about blue.. It might look pretty cool I used black had the pain on hand.

... I just like the contrast against the brighter reef colors and my SPS. Unfortunately I have black clowns, so they would probably look better against blue than black.

Krylon Fusion is a pretty solid paint, just throwing that on there.

I like mine as blue! See through just dosnt look right, and black made my tank look too dark, I think blue makes it look more oceany :)

Mine is blue, it is a bit to blue. I would prefer a navy blue and would have replaced it a long time ago if it was easier to do.

Lazy, your tank is so organized it looks too perfect, almost fake! But I agree a darker blue would look a little better probably!

Btw, If you go to Petco or Pet Supermarket you can buy the backrounds that you just tape onto the back of the tank. Its cheap and you get a black and a blue, so you can try out what color you like more.

To me that light blue pops so much that I gotta fight to view the corals. Makes me wanna shade my eyes lol. Does that make sense?

Makes perfect sense nanareefer, I think a royal blue is a better shade for a reef tank!
